HafenCity Hamburg

In the middle of the town the HafenCity is built at Hamburg Harbour. HafenCity – a quarter of superlatives. The HafenCity can be found by the Hamburg Harbour and is the biggest town planning project of Europe. Attractive living spaces and complex monuments are built beside the Speicherstadt. A lot has been done and making it an interesting place to walk across. During summertime there are exceptionally many people visiting the HafenCity to get an impression of the new quarter. But even in autumn and winter many people visit to learn more about the quarter between Elbbrücken and Kehrwiederspitze. Hamburg downtown will expand about 40 %. By 2025 the construction works of all 12 quarters will be finished. By then there will be space for more than 50.000 people, as business or private persons. All this happens in front of the most beautiful scenery of Hamburg - the harbour.
